Mike Shinoda Childhood
Shinoda grew up in Agoura Hills, California, after being born in Panorama City, California, on February 11, 1977. His father is an American-Japanese His father is an American-Japanese Jason is the youngest sibling he has. When Shinoda was six years old, his mother urged him to start taking classical piano lessons. He stated at the age of 13 that he wanted to start performing jazz, blues, and hip-hop.
Along with Rob Bourdon and Brad Delson of Linkin Park, Shinoda attended Agoura High School. The three started to take their desire to work in the music business more seriously and established the band Xero. Shinoda studied graphic design and illustration at the Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena after graduating from high school. DJ and turntablist Joseph Hahn was his teacher.
