Ebb Software shared the recommended requirements to play the title in 4K at 60fps.
One of the console exclusives that Xbox will close the year with is Scorn. This FPS title that will offer an immersive experience is 3 months away from its debut, so the Ebb Software studio is fine-tuning the last details for the premiere and has just revealed how long it will take the player to finish it, the recommended specifications and more.
In a new edition of The Pulse, their development diary, those in charge of the project took the opportunity to touch on one of the topics that many players are interested in, the duration of the game.
The developer confirmed that finishing Scorn‘s story will take just under 10 hours, “6 to 8 hours,” precisely. The world of Scorn will offer a variety of environments on various levels and playtime will depend on the players’ progress through the puzzles. We remind you that the Scorn experience is focused on exploration and personal reflection.
SCORN WILL NOT HAVE PHOTO MODE
Unfortunately for photography lovers, the studio confirmed that Scorn will not feature Photo Mode. However, he assured that his intention is to maximize the immersion of the player, so the user interface elements are minimal. That said, players will have to take screenshots if they want to save a moment or postcard from the game.
Although the project started with only 4 people and a limited budget, the study reports that it has grown to the point of being considered an AA game; that is, it is not indie, but it is not a great AAA production either.
In fact, there are several projects in the franchise and Ebb Software talked about them. It was revealed that the digital soundtrack will feature 2 hours of music and will be available separately on the Epic Games Store and Steam. Also, the digital art book will be available on both platforms and in 192 pages it will give a look at the concepts, weapons, designs and creatures of the grotesque world of Scorn. The physical version of the book is now available for preorder through Amazon ($50 USD) and will start shipping next December.
