Mario Kart 8 Deluxe : Waluigi Pinball and More Iconic Tracks Coming Soon


Nintendo will add 8 circuits to the Booster Course Pass.

Several indications pointed to the fact that there would soon be news about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and its Booster Course Pass. Nintendo surprised this morning and confirmed what many fans have been waiting for: the second round of bonus tracks is just around the corner.

The company released a trailer to introduce us to the 2 new cups and 8 classic tracks that it will add to the title in a matter of days. He also recalled that the content can be purchased directly or enjoyed with a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.


The second wave of Booster Course Pass content will be released to all players next Thursday, August 4. The Turnip Cup will be added, which will include iconic tracks from the days of the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 64, SNES and also a Mario Kart Tour circuit.

Racers will be able to have crazy races in Waluigi Pinball and also compete in Kalimari Desert. For retro lovers, Mario Circuit 3 will be available. On the other hand, the Propellor Cup will feature some Wii and GBA circuits, such as Snow Land and Mushroom Gorge.

This cup will have a surprise, as it will include a new track called Sky-High Sundae, a circuit decorated with a wide variety of desserts. Nintendo recalled that the rest of the tracks will arrive little by little until adding 48 remastered circuits.

The latest round of content is expected to be released by the end of 2023. Below is the trailer and a list of the cups with their respective tracks:

Turnip Cup:

  • New York Minute (Tour)
  • Mario Circuit 3 (SNES)
  • Kalimari Desert (N64)
  • Waluigi Pinball (DS)

Propellor Cup:

  • Sydney Spring (Tour)
  • Snowland (GBA)
  • Mushroom Gorge (Wii)
  • Sky High Sundae
