Does Briwax darken wood?

Answer: Laminate has no rough areas for the wax yo penetrate. The wax needs to be able to go into rough areas and/or be absorbed. If it is actually wood veneer then yes it would work, but not smooth laminate.

I use them on my cabinets. If there is a finish, they won’t absorb. Would not want to cause more problems with my cabinets. It is heat sensitive.
