Swift Broke the Record for the Most Tickets Sold in a Single Day with The Eras Tour
In November of last year, tickets for the concerts went on sale. A new record for the “most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day” was set on the first day when 2.4 million tickets were sold. Due to the occurrence, the “lack of competition in the ticketing market” became a topic of discussion, and even Congress was forced to convene hearings on the subject. The COVID epidemic forced Swift to postpone her previous performance tour, the Lover Fest.
