The actress, 37, and her musician husband, 35, have two kids together: a daughter, Wilfred, 5, and a son, Evelyn, 7. The couple is currently growing their family by welcoming a new addition, as they are expecting their third child together.
Carey was spotted at the AFI Awards Luncheon on Friday at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, just one day before the news surfaced. The ideal setting for a promising young woman to flaunt her expanding baby bump in a black gown with a dramatic cape was a star-studded red carpet.
Carey and Marcus, a member of the band Mumford and Sons, were engaged for nine months before getting married in 2012. Evelyn, the first of their four children, was born in 2015, and Wilfred, their second child, was born in August 2017.
