According to the official Twitter account for the anime, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 will be split into two parts. Additionally, it provides the airing date for the first episode of the season. They have, however, also revealed that the second instalment would appear toward the end of this year.
The Official Announcement on Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3
The first episode of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 will premiere on March 4, 2023, according to their official website. Part 3 of this Final Season will deal with Eren’s final battle with his former allies and adversaries with the strength of the Original Titan.
However, Part 3 of the final season of Attack on Titan will be split into two courses. To give viewers a preview of what to expect, they also debuted a new trailer. According to the trailer, it will debut on NHK General on March 4, 2023, at 12.25 a.m. JST.
What to Expect from Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3
First off, it’s obvious that the long-running struggle between Marley and the island of Paradis is coming to an end. How everything plays out in Part 3 is the main unanswered question.
Eren has begun the Rumbling, a move that will end the world in which he will use the Titans imprisoned within Paradis’ gates as his own personal army. Eren intends to kill everyone who lives outside of Paradis so that (in his opinion) his pals might live without fear of the cycle of retribution always returning to the “devils” of his home island.
The alliance of Paradis and Marley’s forces is blocking Eren’s path. They are made up of Eren’s’sister’ Mikasa, his former Survey Corps friends, and the rest of Marley’s powerful soldiers.
Before we reach the grand finale, there are a few wildcards to deal with. Floch is one of them in charge. The loyal Eren lieutenant was last seen being shot by Gabi, but it didn’t appear like his fall into the water was particularly lethal. He’s going to be a big part of the show’s climax.
Zeke is probably still playing chess as well. Zeke is the only person who knows how to escape a time paradox; as a result of Eren’s actions in Part 2, he is currently trapped in the Coordinate. Additionally last seen working together with the Cart Titan were Levi and Hange.
Additionally, there are Jaegerists – people who support – whose allegiances might be shaken by Eren’s continuous rampage throughout the world. The outcome of the conflict may depend on whether they side with Eren or against him.
Overall, anticipate Eren and Mikasa to face off in a decisive confrontation over the future of the planet. Whether she can persuade him to turn away from his warpath may make all the difference in the world.
What Is Attack on Titan About?
One of the best anime series ever made was Attack on Titan. There is a significant global fan base for it. The story follows Eren’s adventure and his fight to save his people from the man-eating Titans.
The manga initial ending received harsh criticism from Attack on Titan fans. To split Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 into two parts would require more source material than is currently available.
The fans now have hope for an anime-original conclusion to the series thanks to this odd decision from MAPPA. Another possibility is that MAPPA will include some filler episodes to stretch out the remaining Attack on Titan episodes.
The Returning Staff of the Show
This time, every member of the staff from the previous seasons is back. The entire official staff is as follows:
- Yuichiro Hayashi – Director.
- Hiroshi Seko – Series Composition.
- Tomohiro Kishi – Character Designs.
- Manabu Akita – Chief Anime Director.
- Jun Shishido – Production Chief.
- Satoshi Sakai, Taichi Furumata – Animation Effects Director.
- Shigeki Asakawa – Director of Photography.
- Motoi Okuno, Subaru Ikeda – 3D Director.
How many episodes of Attack on Titan are left?
Part 3 might be brief, though we can’t be sure about that. That’s because its supply material is quickly running out.
To put things in perspective, the first season of Attack on Titan Final Season/season four covered the 91st to 116th chapters of the manga, requiring 16 episodes. Final Season Part 2 covered chapters 117–130 over the course of 12 episodes.
At the current ratio of manga chapters to episodes, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 will only require nine more manga chapters to be adapted. Depending on how MAPPA treats the (presumably) action-heavy moments in the future, that could be extended to about 12 or 13.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 trailer
Short and to the point, the most recent Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 trailer teases Eren’s lowly beginnings, his metamorphosis into a gigantic Titan, and the cataclysmic Rumbling event. There is a hint of a sunny happy ending, but is it too late for our former hero to turn things around? There is also a poster that shows the characters from the anime, such as Eren and Mikasa, literally following Eren as he executes his plan.
