On September 11, nearly two decades ago, Owen Strand was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse. As a result, he was left with the unpleasant chore of reconstructing the station. After a similar tragedy occurs at an Austin, Texas, fire station, Owen travels to the Lone Star State with his troubled firefighter son T.K. to provide assistance in rebuilding their lives.
